Product Information   What TENACIOUS does is take the sulfation, which is part of the natural formation of the electrolyte, and dissolve or dilute it and allow it to become the sulfuric acid it once was. To get the full effect of the System the battery needs to go through, at least, three cycles of charging and discharging. This gets the chemical reaction of diluting the hardened sulfation back into electrolyte and cleaning the hard and soft lead plates. A small amount is injected into each cell (amount determined by the instructions on the bottle) and that is all there is to it. It is not necessary to clean out the cell and change the water/acid balance or make any other adjustments to the battery. Simply add TENACIOUS into each cell and charge and discharge the battery.   The CD-K is a charger/discharger for 6-8-12-24 volt batteries. This unique machine hooks up to the battery and goes through 3 cycles of charging and discharging. Each unit is made to order. This is the DC 60B Battery Tester.  The DC 60B is a Load Tester specifically made for the forklift-type battery with 2-volt cells. By adjusting the toggle switches you can adjust the tester to 20A, 40A or 60A. (Simply take the aH for the battery and multiply by 0.10 then set the tester for the proper amps) A reading is taken for each cell after the battery is fully charged. Note each measurement starting from the Pos. pole. (Numbering the cells will prevent any errors). Also taking a density measurement for each cell is done. The battery is now charged and discharged 3 times and a new reading is taken for each cell – voltage and density. If any cell is still showing a voltage reading below the average, even though the density may be in the right range, that cell is physically damaged internally and it must be replaced in order to get the full potential of the battery.
